The Diversity Equity Inclusion Group was formed by experienced professionals, who after participating in the Certified Training program offered by the True Storytelling Institute® decided to use the methodology to assist individuals and organizations to be more effective change agents in the workplace and society.

The DEI Group collectively has decades of experience in their respective fields engaging people in the workplace. This experience includes individual coaching, leadership training, organizational development, community engagement, supplier diversity, municipal, corporate, and arts and cultural issues. The individual backgrounds and experiences of members are now embedded within the DEI Group, LLC.

The mission of the DEI Group is to “Engage storytelling communication dynamics to create a safe environment, and to reimagine and implement sustainable change in the workplace and society.”

We are Certified® Trainers of the True Storytelling Institute and the 7-Principles of True Storytelling. We are practitioners of concepts and principles rooted in Indigenous cultures, western philosophies and empirical studies that have a practical application in today’s workplace and society. Combined with decades of real-world experience, we offer an entirely different approach and a “Way of Being in the World.”

(A) Answerability: (T) Together telling; and (S)Sense making is a framework that allows for embodiment of the 7-Principles of True Storytelling in a way that takes advantage of the Latin communication principle and saying ‘Omne trium perfectum’ and guides stakeholders on an arc to a unified outcome.

The 7-principles of True Storytelling represent the protreptic steps of finding oneself and guiding others to the same space of confidence, helping others identify, include and act on the power of ante narratives along the way. To uniquely assist clients, we contextualize each issue and employ our ATS framework in the True Storytelling process.

The DEI Group offers corporate, civic, and community engagement and organizational change management services.

The DEI Group provides 1) a coaching system for individuals and or groups; and 2) arts, cultural, and entertainment special event community engagement programs. All services are unique, dynamic, and founded on the 7 Principles of True Storytelling® and the ATS methodology of organizational change management and consensus-building services.

Yes. Depending on the needs of the individual or organizations, DEIG can schedule in-person training and/or combine it with virtual delivery.

Yes. A group or individual online training is accomplished in-person, and which may include self-training videos and or subject matter videos.

The cost of customized training, programs, or events is based on the assessment conducted and client-contextualized needs.

The practitioners of the True Storytelling® Methodology are composed of the True Storytelling founders who were the original trainers and certified True Storytelling trainers.
