ENLIGHTENMENT STATEMENT

My True Storytelling experience has been infinitely invaluable. This exposure has resulted in my personal growth to a higher level of understanding and emotional fortitude that provides me the pathway to navigate, reach back, and manage incoming situations, with resolute, sustainable, rewarding, and ethical outcomes. The essence of True Story Telling (TSI) is rooted in reflection, telling your story, and reimaging that story for the re-story. As an OD practitioner (organizational development practitioner), I am in a global space where I share and apply my knowledge and experience within and among social-cultural community engagements to bring about an elevated sense of self-
awareness, togetherness, love, and harmony.

About Rico: Rico L. Smith Sr is a founding Senior Member and VP of the DEIGroup LLC (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Group) which is a Corporate, Community, Civic, and Engagement Guide Firm. He is also a Board Member of the Affordable Housing Non-Profit LLTL (Living Life Through Love). He is the President and founder of RLS Consultant Service. He is a retired Assistant City Manager and previous to that a Fire Chief with 37 years, of exceptional municipal government, and public service experience. He has established an ethical, effective, efficient, and safe local government work history, specializing in but not limited to fire service public safety strategic emergency and non-emergency planning, municipal government change management, finance, and succession/exit planning.
